Pastor Willie J. Felton, Jr.
Senior Pastor

Pastor Willie J. Felton, Jr. is the Senior Pastor of Living Word Christian Center Intl (“LWCCI”). He has been serving in the Pastorate since 2003. He accepted his call to the ministry in January 1978.

He was ordained in 1981 within the organization of Mt Zion Holy Union Church of God. He served faithfully at Bethel, under the leadership of the late Elder Elijah Alford, and True Faith under the leadership of the late Pastor Freddie Lee Felton, both of Mt Zion Holy Union Church of God. Several years later he joined and served faithfully at Missionary Evangelistic Center under Apostle Johnny L. Kemp.

In 1999 he was ordained under Bishop Henry Fernandez of The Faith Center. He is currently under the spiritual covering of Pastors Ed & Yvette Brinson of Redeeming Word Christian Center Intl. He graduated high school in 1976 and furthered his education at Miami-Dade College in 1978 earning an Associate of Arts Degree in Business. He worked for Southern Bell/BellSouth/AT&T for 30+ years. He retired in February 2010.

He also serviced in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for 16 years receiving an Honorable Discharge in 2003. Pastor Felton married Karen Richburg in 1991, and she serves alongside him as Executive Pastor (Team Felton). They have four lovely children: Bryon, Antwan, Danielle, and Christopher. Pastor Felton’s greatest desire is to see lives changed with the word of God (Romans 12:2).

Karen Felton is the third child born to the late Deacon John H. Richburg, Jr., and the late Mother Oneal Watson-Richburg Chaney. Karen was raised in Miami, Florida where she graduated from Miami Edison Senior High School and attended Miami-Dade Community College. Karen accepted the Lord as her personal Lord and Savior in 1984.

She joined Missionary Evangelist Center under the leadership of Apostle Johnny L. Kemp in 1984. It was there that Karen received the call of God to minister the word of God. In 1999 Karen was ordained under the leadership of Bishop Henry Fernandez of The Faith Center.

Karen has a genuine love for God and for His people. Out of that love, Karen gave birth to “Sisters Keepin It Real.” A ministry that deals with real life issues that women are facing both naturally and spiritually and provides Godly insight and wisdom to help them bring about change. Karen also leads the Women’s Department “Women of Distinction” at LWCCI. Karen was inducted into the Fellowship of Women In Ministry in 2012 under the leadership of Pastor Yvette Brinson of Redeeming Word Christian Center. Karen is a motivational speaker, intercessor, and counselor.

One of Karen’s favorite scriptures is Ephesians 3:20 AMPC: “Now to Him Who, by (consequence of) the {action of His} power that is at work within us, is able to {carry out His purpose and} do superabundantly, far over and above all that we {dare} ask or think {infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams}.

Pastor Karen and Pastor Felton were married in 1991, and she serves alongside him as Executive Pastor. They have four lovely children: Bryon, Antwan, Danielle, and Christopher, of which she is extremely proud.
